Coyotes continue dominating performance against conference competitors

The No. 2 Weatherford College volleyball team swept Vernon College on Saturday at the Betty Jo Graber Athletic Center, winning 25-11 in all three sets.

This is the 36th consecutive conference victory and 25th 3-0 sweep for WC this season. The Coyotes' conference record remains a perfect 16-0, while their overall record is 27-2.

Mirabel Onyegwu was the attack leader for the Coyotes, collecting 11 kills and six digs against the visiting Chaparrals. Rayna Dinsmore and Weronika Urbanska followed closely behind with seven kills each.

Beline Thibaut led the defense, seizing 13 digs and seven kills.

The Weatherford College volleyball team will play its last home game on Saturday, Nov. 1, at 1 p.m.
