Coyotes fall to Odessa
The No. 20 Weatherford College softball team (21-12 in conference, 33-14 overall) faced a 5-1 defeat against Odessa College on Wednesday at Wrangler Softball Complex.
Keeping the game scoreless in the first couple of innings, WC dropped the tie on a grand slam from Mason Barclay, giving Odessa the 4-0 lead.
Despite a sacrifice fly from Hannah Bartles in the top of the fifth, the Coyotes couldn't bridge the 5-1 gap that ultimately sealed the game for the Wranglers.
