WC softball earns conference honors

The No. 20 Weatherford College softball team had five players tapped to be part of the Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference All-Conference Team for the 2025 season. 
 
Freshman right-handed pitcher Sarah Hanf was placed on the all-region five north team and first team all-conference.
 
Hanf is no stranger to awards and honors, being named NTJCAC Pitcher of the Week five times and NJCAA National Pitcher of the Week two times this year.
 
Sophomore Sadie Reid and sophomore outfielder Alexah Reyes were also honored as part of the all-conference first team. 
 
Sophomore right-handed pitcher Faith Drissel and sophomore infielder Madison Lux were honored as members of the all-conference second team. 
 
The Coyotes will play against Odessa College in their first post-season game on Wednesday, May 7 at noon in Odessa. TSBN Sports will live-stream every game of the 2025 Southwest District A Championship at www.tsbnsports.com.
