Strawn earns Pitcher of the Week

Last week, the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference tapped Weatherford College freshman right-handed pitcher Cooper Strawn as Pitcher of the Week.

A native of Farmersville, Strawn was a key component for the Coyotes' clean sweep series against Ranger College. His five innings pitched helped WC secure the 10-2 victory in game two.

Allowing just one earned run on four hits, he struck out seven batters and walked two.

The Coyotes will be on the road at Hill College on Wednesday, April 9, in a doubleheader starting at noon.
