McKinley wins 800

Bob McKinley hit a major coaching milestone Saturday afternoon. Weatherford College’s athletic director and basketball coach picked up win number 800 as the Lady Coyotes and Coyotes swept Temple College. McKinley has coached at WC since 1977, winning 11 conference championships, earning three national tournament berths and winning Conference Coach of the Year honors eight times. The Coyote Basketball Booster Club presented McKinley with a special “800” jersey, donated by Carey’s Sporting Goods.
