Despite drawing first blood in its first-round game against North Central Texas College with a 2-run homer off the bat of Casey Cromwell, Weatherford College could not hold off the savvy NCTC squad, and took a 9-5 bloody nose in the opening round of play of the NJCAA Region V North Tournament.
