Weatherford College basketball players Roderick Flemings, Edvinas Ruzgas and Afeisha Noel have been named to the NJCAA All-Region V teams for 2007-08.

Flemings, a 6-foot-7 sophomore from Desoto, ranked second in the region in rebounds (11.7 per game) and fourth in scoring (20.6 points). He was also named Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year in the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference (NTJCAC).

Ruzgas, a 6-foot-6 sophomore from Lithuania, ranked fifth in the region in scoring with 19.2 points per game.

Noel, a 6-foot-3 sophomore from Trinidad & Tobago, was third in the region in rebounds with 9.5 per game.

All three players are contemplating offers from university basketball programs.

The Coyotes finished the season with a 24-6 overall record and a NTJCAC championship. The Lady Coyotes also won the conference championship with a 21-5 overall record.
