Oklahoma Baptist University has two former Weatherford College players to its 2008-09 roster.

Afeisha Noel is a 6-3 All-Conference post player from Weatherford College. A native of Trinidad and Tobago, Noel averaged 12 points and 10 rebounds last season and was recruited by the likes of Kentucky, Maryland and Indiana. A dominant presence in the post, Noel also has a nice passing touch, having averaged 2.5 assists last season. She is overcoming a leg injury and should be ready for the start of the season.

Ashley Harrell, also coming in from Weatherford College, is a 5-11 guard who averaged 12 points and was named to the All-Conference USA Freshman team at Southern Miss before moving on to Weatherford. Harrell was rated the 10th-best guard in the country out of high school by Adidas All-Star Girls Report.

Those recent additions join Natasha Hogg, who committed to OBU during the season. She averaged 18 points and 12 rebounds at Weatherford College.
