Weatherford College basketball player Roderick Flemings has been chosen as a first team All-American by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).

Flemings is the first WC men's player chosen for the first team and the seventh All-American.

Flemings was named Player of the Year, Newcomer of the Year and a first team All-Conference selection in the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference (NTJCAC). The 6-foot-7 sophomore from Desoto led the NTJCAC in scoring with 20.6 points per game. He also ranked second in rebounds (11.7), second in blocks (1.5), fourth in steals (2.7) and fourth in field goal percentage (56.2). He was also an All-Region V selection.

The Coyotes won the 2007-08 NTJCAC championship and posted a 24-6 overall record.
