The Weatherford College basketball teams opened Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference (NTJCAC) play with victories Monday night over Southwestern Christian College at the Betty Jo Graber Athletic Center.

The Lady Coyotes (9-1 overall, 1-0 NTJCAC) dominated SWCC 90-47. Andreja Peciuraite led all scorers with 23 points. Anna Jefferson-Polk, Sarah Bush and River Romine each had 11 points.

The WC men’s team (10-5, 1-0) won 72-60. Ke’Lyn Adams scored 22 points and Jacob Bonnington had 21. It was the sixth win in a row for the Coyotes.

Both teams travel to Richland College for non-conference games Wednesday afternoon.
